Most people are just going to connect, then leave once they realize how long it takes to download. This also won't attract new players, seeing as they would just connect-disconnect without a second thought. When you get new players, they might join the steam group. IF they happen to do so, they MIGHT click on the link for the forums. There's too many if's for players to download this content pack; most will just leave. You need to host something that appeals to a wider variety of people and doesn't require a content pack.

Sorry but theres an RP server that will attract players into the group which will hopefully get more people into the forums. Also fast DL is not working, so any gamemode would take long really.

well my rp server is attracting a few people
should attract more when ive finished making a rp map (under 4 mb) instead of using gm_construct due to no fast dl

(First of all i managed to find a hard disk with nabers, wich i will pay in a few days.)

I downloaded the files for the server but still i need to download things.
I put everything from folder in right folder but still i get stuck at Help2.htm
if you can answer ASAP i will be happy.

Did you extract everything from the Zip folder to your gamemodes? If not do that, if you have I have no idea why.

Loads of others managed to connect fine lol, just you for some reason. But Fast DL will be on soon, so don't worry as it will find it and download it fast.

I went to another stranded server just to test,and it went perfectly there so i dont think i will need to download Help2.htm on your server

So when server gets fixed from update (Server version is older than your version)
I will be able to play i hope.

Urm, you know what Fast Dl is right?

It allows the client to download server items at their own internet speed.

Yeah, but it also helps you not miss any files above 10mb.
